the importance of listening

Last week on wednesday, we were talking about the importance of listening skill on learning process of students.

When we ´ll be teaching , we shouldn´t forget maintain a verbal contact with our students all the time because if we do it we will be helping them to improve their listening skills.
We saw also an example of activity to work listening. it was a picture dictation where the teacher gives some instructions and the have to draw what they have listened. this method was very interesting because is a way to capt the attention of students in a natural way.
